With Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 confirmed to be heading into cinemas for July 15th 2015, Disney has been busy of late trying to work out who's going to direct the new movie. It became clear that neither of the previous directors of the franchise's films, Gore Verbinski or Rob Marshall, was going to return.
So who's landed the job of directing Pirates Of The Caribbean 5? It's not one person this time, but two. Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, the pair behind acclaimed Oscar-nominated Norwegian movie Kon-Tiki, are set to sign on the dotted line to make the new film. They'll be directing from a script by Jeff Nathanson.
